Fifteen hours...

It was an usual day when we woke up in the morning. Mom had her breakfast by 9 am.

I just reminded my mom that we had to go to hospital for a regular check-up. She realized that and then we started our journey to the hospital by call taxi. We reached hospital within an hour. We had to wait for our turn.
I was in a little anger with my dad; Yes, how nice it could have been if he is with us now. Thankfully my grandparents were with us.

After an hour or so [around 12 pm] we met the Doctor. She advised my mom to get admitted in the hospital.

Immediately my dad had been informed to start to Chennai.
He must be in the bus stop now and waiting for Volvo bus.
I don't know why, these software engineers always prefer Volvo/AC buses. :)

Bangalore - 2.30 pm. My dad boarded into a KSRTC volvo bus and started his journey. Mom was happy to hear that he had started. Doctors started giving some medicines to her. I was too little to understand what is happening to her.

Few more hours passed. It was sharp 9 pm in the evening and she started suffering badly. Doctor gave a heavy dose of medicine to her. We were getting worried. Finally my dad reached hospital by 10 pm. Mom was really happy to see my dad back. Dad was with her for few minutes and then he was told to leave the room.
He was sitting outside in the waiting hall with his in-laws.

Dad went out to get some hot milk in the flask, and few medicines for mom.
He returned and gave the milk to her. He shared some milk with grandparents too.
We had to accompany the night shift doctors and nurses. Yeah, all the other patients who came with us were left after their treatment. Needless to mention - night shift mosquitoes also were giving company. :)

We were waiting in the hospital without knowing what to do.

Doctors were clueless about the situation. They gave another dose of medicine in the midnight.
Mom's condition had not become better; and it started worsening as the time passes. We were asked to wait and relax. We were able to wait but couldn't' relax.
Dad caught up some sleep for few minutes in the early morning. He woke up suddenly with the sharp bite of the head of mosquito department. Checked his wrist watch which showed 4 am.

He ran towards mom and saw her from outside of the room. She was still in the same situation and was screaming at the duty doctors to do something. He couldn't see her in that condition. Returned to his seat and sat quietly.

Time passed slowly; Sun rose in the morning to start his duty.
Mom was given only some milk in the early morning. Dad took bath and was forced to had breakfast with grandparents @ 10 am.

Dad discussed with doctor about mom's condition. Doctor told that she should become fine in few more hours. But she was in extreme suffering state which she couldn't bear any more. She started crying and screaming @ loud tone. We were helpless. Clock ticked past 12 pm. Mom was taken to the next room.
She calmed down by 12.25 pm with a smile on her face and tears broke out of joy. Relaxed herself after 15 hours of continuous pain.
And I started crying loudly when I landed in this world.
But, I felt happy that mom's health is OK now..

Dad was flying high after seeing his new born baby boy...

I am thankful to my mom for carrying me throughout this 40 weeks.
And bearing the pain for about 15 hours to deliver me.
